What are you knocking for?! [Bakura's voice was laced with genuine irritation. It's not like he was busy. All that knock managed to do was make him fuck up his drawing.] Just come in!

[Gaaaaaah, this guy! He was pissed off, to say the least. Opening the door, he crossed over to the coffee table and set the glass of blood and the small bag down.]

Here's your blood.

[...what the hell was the guy doing to the poor table?]

Yeah, well it annoyed me, so don't do it unless I tell you to!

[His irritation seemed to melt away in an instant at the sight of that blood and baggy.]

Ohh... You did it! Well, well, I didn't think you had it in you~ [He reached over, grabbing the baggy first and inspecting the bit of flesh inside. Dark skin...then it definitely wasn't his Ba's.]

But knocking is how you know I'm there, so how can you tell me?

[That jerk... He sighed, stepping back. What was this guy thinking? Like he'd have let his friends die.]

Given the incentive, it wasn't like I had a choice.

[You'll just have to figure that out on your own Ryou, because he's already moving on and dunking his fingers into the blood. He tilted the cup so as sure to soak them before bringing them to his lips and trailing his tongue over them.

The blood had a different taste to it. Sweeter, almost.]

You've passed. Now, [he licked his lips, smudging blood across them,] maybe you've learned your lesson, and won't try to betray me again! H-heh heh heh...you're lucky I let you off at all.

[Gesturing for Ryou to come over with that bloodied hand of his, he barked an order.] Now come here!

[Ugh. Gross. Not that he hadn't had blood all over himself before, but licking it was... just disgusting. Trying to hide his disgust behind polite indifference, he came a little closer. That jerk... like he'd done it out of a sense of trying to betray anyone. But it was no good trying to explain himself further. He didn't dare come too close, after last time.]

U-un. What is it?

[Bakura kept his hand out, gesturing still for Ryou to come closer. Despite the softness of his gesture, his words were startlingly loud.]

You're not close enough!

[fluffydeathdealer]

[Wincing, he agreeably approached. This guy was a walking paradox...]

Right... Will you tell me what you want now?

[His hand remained where it was, fingers stretched out towards Ryou's face.]

I want you to taste it, h-heh...

What? Come on! [He urged, leaning forward over the table.] It's your friend's, isn't it?! You shouldn't let it go to waste.

[fluffydeathdealer]

No! That's absolutely disgusting! I'd never do something like that! [This guy was so messed up...]

Hm? [He frowned lightly, nonchalantly shrugging as he looks back down at the glass of blood.]

If you insist. [Bakura looked like he was about to let it go when he suddenly thrust the cup towards Ryou, splashing blood all over him.]

Eh-?! [Ryou recoiled in surprise as the cooled blood hit his face, falling over on his backside. What the fuck was he- oh god it was everywhere! He could taste it! He spluttered, staring wide-eyed at the older man.]

Gh... W-what the hell was that for?!

[Bakura let out a loud, sudden laugh, curling up against the table and smacking his hand against it as if this were the funniest damn thing he's ever seen.]

T-that--h-heheh--'s a good look for you, Ba! Gyahaha!

Y-you...! [He tried to wipe the blood off thoughtlessly, but stopped as the realization hit him that he was just staining his clothes with it. How the hell was he going to explain this if anyone saw him?! "Oh, I decided to audition for the role of Carrie in the school's Christmas Play"? And on top of that, this was Malik's blood... ugh, this guy! Was there no low he wouldn't stoop to?!]

Like hell it does! I probably look like a murder victim.

[His skin was already pale enough that the red would have made it look lifeless.]

[Bakura's laughter stopped abruptly, and the older, darker man leaned forward so his hushed voice could be heard. That malevolent grin never left.]

Don't you mean...a murderer?

[fluffydeathdealer]

... [No, he meant victim. But now that he thought about it, he probably would look like a murderer.]

I'd better not let anyone see me on the way back.

[And Malik would probably still be in the apartment, too. Dammit, dammit, dammit... Maybe he'd better hide out somewhere and pretend he was just too worried about Malik killing him.]

You could always stay here! After all, I always have more I can teach you. Your soul isn't nearly black enough.

[Of course don't be surprised if Thief King Bakura's temper and impatience get the best of him. Ryou may very well not stay longer than another hour.]

[Yeah, he was pretty sure that wasn't going to happen. This guy was kind of crazy, after all.]

Like what? [He can't imagine this guy teaching him anything that actually keeps him here.] Uhm. Can I use your sink?

[Please let him wash this blood off his skin.]

Like how to enjoy yourself a little more! [Bakura grabbed his knife once more, using it to carve something into the table below.]

And that depends. What's a sink?

It's the metal bowl in the kitchen and bathroom that you pour water into to wash up.

[He tossed his knife aside, finishing his crude, but typically Egyptian styled drawing of what looks to be Ryou's shocked face and posture (in profile, of course) covered in scribbles....er, blood.] Then no! That's my water, how generous do you think I am?!

[Sigh. He figured. And what was with the exceptionally embarrassing artwork?] It's not like it runs out... But whatever you say.

[The only embarrassing thing here was the look on Ryou's face when that blood hit him!]

Not run out, h-hehehe...what do you take me for, Ba? I'd be mad if it weren't such a piss-poor lie. You can sit and suffer with the stink of blood tonight!
