I'm thankful that you told me what you did, though. Things... well, I think they'll at least be a little better now.

[He hugs her back in an awkwardly formal manner, feeling uncomfortable with it. Things will be better, huh... He really hopes so. Karasu is a nice girl. She deserves better.]

I hope so. After all, we're still stuck here.

[It's just a matter of if she can take it when it comes.]

That's a good idea. Hmm... I wonder what, though?

...I could make a trophy or something.

I'd say we could fill it with sweets, but at the end of that, we're not going to want to eat for a while!

What about an IOU to one dinner made entirely by the other person?

[It's not like he doesn't love cooking anyway.]

Then it's settled! We just have to figure out when to hold it.

It really doesn't need to be a big affair, right? So we could just do it whenever. The hard part is just having all the food ready.

Maybe I could ask the other me to help...

It couldn't hurt to get the help... though I might need to cook it somewhere else so the Thief King doesn't get his hands in everything.

You could just try giving him something to distract him with?

I don't think I have anything that interesting to get him off food.

...oh right. [Of course his past self would be food crazy...]

Well, if one of us keeps him occupied while the other works, we can take it in turns.

That might work, yeah! Hopefully, he'll just be out again, but if not, we can do that.
