Wouldn't you need to be cooking your half?

Well, if one of us keeps him occupied while the other works, we can take it in turns.

That might work, yeah! Hopefully, he'll just be out again, but if not, we can do that.

We'd need to get someone to keep track, too.

Maybe Kai-kun can do it?

[Drawing his legs up, he loops his arms around his knees and stares off into space. The rain is dying down... that's good.]

I didn't bring an umbrella. Did you?

No, I didn't... I kind of wanted to walk in the rain. It felt good, and I liked the cold feeling.

I see... that's good.

[A drop of water from the above tree falls to hit him on the nose and he squeaks, wrinkling his nose up cutely.]

Cold-!

[Karasu blinks, then bursts into giggles at that, smiling at him.]

Too cold for you?

Ehe... A little. [He rubs his nose and grins at her.] You'd think I'd be used to the cold by now, but even after all this time, I'm not used to not wearing sweaters and fastened-up uniforms.

[The spirit's fashion sense had eclipsed his own, to his sorrow. He awkwardly fastens up the top buttons of his shirt.]

I think you'd look nice in the right kind of sweaters. Maybe the Campus will start making them for you!

[She pulls up her own legs again, wet as her pants are now, and crosses both her arms over her knees, resting her head on them to look at him.]

I actually have some, but I can't wear them. [Sigh.] 'He' keeps taking them off.

It doesn't matter anyway.

[Ah... yeah, somehow, she doesn't think a sweater would really suit Bakura.]

I guess that would be a problem... but why not?

Until I'm strong enough to get rid of him, I don't have any choice but to adapt. I've gotten used to accepting things I can't change. The important things are still there. Everything else... I can deal with losing.

...Ryou-kun...

[That's right... Ryou's not sharing the body willingly. She gives him a gentle look, resisting the urge to hug him again after feeling how awkward he seemed about it earlier.]

...At least you don't have to worry about losing me! I promise.

I should hope so. My friends are the only thing I won't ever back down on. Even 'he' knows that.

They're really important... even if it took me a while to figure that out.

[Have a smile that's a lot more cheerful than before, Ryou!]

Un! Friends are the one thing that'll always stick by you. No matter what.

[Even someone like him... has friends who matter and who'll support him. That's a warming thought.]

[She quiets a bit at that, closing her eyes to just listen to the rain, fading as it is. Heh... that's right. Even if Bakura wasn't one...

She did have people like that.

Reaching out, she playfully ruffles Ryou's hair almost without thinking.]

[He grins, not minding at all, though it surprises him. Hah, it was like all the silver haired kids were becoming a family. Kai, and him, and now Karasu.]

You think so? Kai-kun doesn't seem to mind me either, so I guess so!

[Hm...]

You should play with us sometime! Kai-kun says we're going to make swords and capes and do all the stuff I didn't get to do as a kid.

I wouldn't say it if I didn't!

That sounds like fun! I'd love to join you, if you wanted me.

If you don't think you'd feel too stupid pretending to be a sorceress or a knight, then I'd like it!

[He should be more embarrassed about this, but like hell he is.]

I'm a TRPG player, so it's not all that weird to me, but I know a lot of people would find it strange.
