But... I'm different right now, right? So I'm not really the same person.

I wanna do everything.

You're different, yeah... but you're just younger. You haven't taken someone else's brain, silly!

[She reaches over to playfully push him.]

Hm... do you remember how to duel?

[fluffydeathbitty]

[He doubts that, somehow. How can he be younger when he was never young to begin with? Unless he's reverted mentally to the state of the person he was before he became himself. Ugh, just trying to work it out makes his head hurt.]

Yeah. I think so, anyway. [But dueling doesn't sound like a lot of fun right now.]

Can we do something else, though?

[Okay, that's a bit... strange. He must really be feeling unsettled about this, isn't he?

Karasu simply nods, moving her knee up to lean on it, still smiling without missing a beat.]

Sure thing. I don't mind. Let's see...

[Well, she knew one thing they could do.]

Want to go flying?

Aren't you a little young for that language now~?

[Sorry, she can't help but tease.]

[He says that like it explains everything. Please, like he's some prissy girl who can't swear.]

Besides, nobody's got the right to tell me off, 'cause I don't have parents or guardians or anything. Nobody's in control of me~!

[Griiin.]

I guess that's a good point... but having a parent would be nice sometimes, wouldn't it?

...I dunno. Ryou's parents are the only ones I've really known, and one's dead and the other's been absent most of the time for years. So there's nothing I can compare it to that makes it seem worth the trouble.

I've never wanted one anyway. 'cause I've always been grown-up, so I never needed it. I never needed anyone before I came here.

[It seems Bakura's more honest in this state too.]

[It seems so. She makes a thoughtful noise at that, looking up.]

Hm, that would make it hard... I guess it's because I can remember him that I miss my father a lot.

[Oh well. Karasu stands up, stretching some.]

Shall we?

I remembered my mother once, but it was only really brief. I couldn't even see her face. Just hear her voice.

I don't remember it any more.

[He scrambles to his feet, looking more excited now.]

Yeah, let's go!

[moderndaydragon]

[His mother, huh... she wonders if it was better or worse than he remembered at all, if it was just that.

Oh well.]

All right!

[A quick flash of light later, and the usual dragon is there, offering a claw for Bakura to climb onto to help him get to her back.]

[Climbing up onto her back is way harder like this. He almost falls off, but eventually gets himself seated securely on her back.]

Woah... I can see forever, and we haven't even left the ground yet.

[moderndaydragon]

[She gives an amused, if gentle, growl, looking up and nodding a bit at that, holding her claw over his head to indicate the smaller size.

Once she's sure he seems to be firmly holding on, she stands up, flapping her wings hard to get them both up. It's got to be a lot more jarring as he is now, too, so once she's actually in the air, she glances back again to make sure he's still hanging on.]

[Pout~]

I know I'm smaller! Though I don't feel it.

[WOAH HEY THIS IS KINDA HARD NOW JUST GONNA BE CLINGING TO YOUR NECK LIKE WOAH.]

[She just gives a sound that's probably about as close to a dragon giggle as there is, though the clinging makes her frown a little. She doesn't want to send him tumbling or anything...

Maybe it'll be fine if she doesn't go too fast?

Giving a gentler flap of her wings, she starts her usual flight pattern around the island, though this time she's going as slow as she can to make sure there's no bitty-to-the-ground accidents.]

[She needn't worry, for once his initial nerves are gone, the little boy is all too excited to fly. He watches in awe as the island moves below them, fascinated.]

Ah, this is so cool!
