[Flinging himself down onto a chair grouchily, he put his feet up on the table thoughtlessly.]

[Sounding annoyed, Malik proceeds to lean over and roughly shove Bakura's feet off the table.]

Malik's just going to shove them off again.]

Ow! [Malik pulls his hand away, rubbing it tenderly.]

[Malik relaxes a bit when Bakura's feet are down, and he rests back in his chair.] I didn't say anything about the coffee table, but the dinner table is too much!

Thinking about it, it's impolite for either of us to be wearing shoes in the apartment at all. But I guess Ryou's resigned to it by now.

[He's glad to see Bakura not making a big deal out of this, because it really is something he would have fought him over.]

Speak for yourself, I'm only wearing socks. [Malik holds a foot out, just to show that.] Not that I care what Ryou thinks.

Huh, then you're more comfortable without shoes? I never noticed that before.

[He doesn't look at Malik's feet much...]

Who wants to wear shoes all the time? They're not that comfortable. I figure I can relax a little while I'm here.

[He shrugs.] I thought about getting some indoor shoes, but neither of you two were using them.

I don't care if I'm wearing shoes or not. Discomfort's easy to tolerate. Ryou only wears them if there's a guest in the house, but I don't care about politeness.

[He swings his feet insolently.]

[Malik pops the last few chunks of mango into his mouth and then pushes the plate aside, leaning his elbows down on the table.]

Ohh...? I've never even seen him bring somebody in here. He must do it when I'm not around...

[Which is often enough some days, to his credit.]

[Bakura rests his head on his hand, watching Malik thoughtfully.]

He's had a few visitors here. But he won't bring people in if he sees you're home, so that's why you never run into them.

How rude. What, is he afraid I'll scare away his friends?

[Malik mocks offense as he props his head up in his hands in a similiar fashion, watching Bakura in turn.]

Whoops...kehkeh, I guess I do have that sort of reputation.

[Bakura snickers, amused. Reputation? Possibly. Malik has a scary attitude, for such a brat.]

I think he's more afraid you might murder them or make them uncomfortable.

Murder them? What does he take me for? [He's genuinely offended now.] I don't just go around throwing people to their deaths.

[Unless they deserved it. There are many justifications for one deserving it...]

It's Ryou, Malik. He's less scared of you than he was, but still paranoid.

[Bakura, on the other hand, just sounds amused. Very amused.]

It doesn't matter anyway; I'm not interested in meeting any "friends" of his.

[Malik folds his arms, tapping his fingers on them thoughtfully.]

Although...I'll need to find somebody to fill the other player spots when Ryou finishes his Monster World set.
