[Sigh. Good, Kaiba's going- JESUS MAN, DON'T DO THAT. It makes him almost fall forward with the force of it, grinning sheepishly and rubbing the back of his head.]

Eheh... thanks. Though I'm kind of surprised by how fun it was. I haven't felt this relaxed in... [Woah. He doesn't remember feeling this relaxed since his last RPG campaign.] ...months, at least.

But what surprised you? That I did it at all?

[Oh, how Bakura counts the ways on his fingers, like a child tallying brownie points...]

The fact you did it, the fact enjoyed it, and the fact you were daring enough to climb down the side of the building without falling.

[That last one apparently counted as two, leaving Bakura with just a thumb left on his hand. He waves his hand a bit.]

H-heh, impress me one more time, and you'll have a whole hand!

[Heh. He rubs the back of his head awkwardly.]

T-thanks. I've had a fair bit of practice with climbing. It's not as scary once you've climbed a tower blindfolded.

[Nothing really compares to that. Though he's just glad this guy didn't see him fall on his poor, abused ass.]

... [Bakura glances up at the school at that. He sees some corners, some moderate but easily scalable walls...and no tower. Looking back down at his Ba, he inclines his head and casually inquires.]

Where the fuck did you find a tower to climb?

[Seeing where he was looking, Ryou grins ruefully.]

Ah... it wasn't here. [He rubs the back of his head awkwardly.]

It was at Duelist Kingdom, a few months ago. We had to climb up it because the guards would have seen us breaking in otherwise.

[That makes sense enough, okay, next question.]

...Then why were you blindfolded?

[Sigh.]

Anzu-chan didn't want us looking up her skirt, but Honda-kun didn't want her going up last. So he blindfolded us both.

...So she risked your lives over her modesty? [Bakura rolls his eyes.] Women. H-heh heh.

[He can't believe he's agreeing with the guy on this...]

I know! It wasn't like she couldn't have stayed behind if she was so worried about us seeing. She could have kept lookout or something. Or even just tied a rope around her waist and had Honda-kun pull her up.

[It wasn't like she even did anything. They could have just done it themselves.]

She sounds like a pain in the ass. I can't believe you put up with that! ...Then again, knowing you, maybe I can.

[Sorry Ryou, you're not out of his line of fire just yet.]

She's a girl. They're all annoying. But Anzu-chan's still one of my friends, even so.

[He's never going to be out of his line of fire.]

[Looking back up at the side of the building, Bakura grabs the nearby vine and starts to pull himself back up.]

Eh-? You're going back up that way?

[Ryou stared at the man with slightly wide eyes.]

[Already halfway up, he looks down.]

Yeah? Why not?

[He takes a few more steps up and...casually, if accidentally, flashes his Ba.]

[MEEP OKAY, TURNING HIS BACK TO THE BUILDING RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.]

N-n-no reason!

[Dammit, why hadn't he kept that blindfold.]

Never mind! Do what you like!

H-heh heh, what, are you going to go the long way?

[Once he's at the top, Bakura turns around and leans over the edge, his hair hanging down to frame his face. That's weird, his Ba is looking the other way...]

Huh? What're you looking at?

[Huh-? Glancing back, he noticed with relief that the thief king wasn't flashing him any more.

Oh thank every god he knows of.]

Nothing! I'm coming.

[Well, he'll do his best to climb up. Slower than TK, that's for sure. More hesitant. But all that rope climbing practice has definitely helped.]

[Once Ryou's back on the roof, Bakura slouches back into his spot, gesturing for Ryou to follow.

Time passes, and with enough coaxing Bakura manages to get his timid Ba to actually toss some rocks at strangers, much to his satisfaction. A few trips to gather more supplies are made, some food is had, and eventually the two of them part ways.

All-in-all...it was a pretty enjoyable day.]
