These are the ooc memes that I fill in, mostly containing headcanon as results. Some canon evidence may be given. Some may not. Generally, they will be taken for both characters at once.

However in all cases, they're also sick or wounded. For Bakura, I think this is pretty accurate, but Ryou probably shifts around a lot when he's not sick. Ryou doesn't like sleeping on his stomach, though. It's too uncomfortable. Bakura can do it.
Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc. Thanks to Bakura, there are five little raised scars on their body, over their chest, where the Ring's prongs penetrated. There's also a scar on the center of their right hand, and likely a scar on his arm from the stabbing.
Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like? When speaking in english, Ryou has a discernable Japanese accent, albeit a light one. He speaks in more of a Tokyo dialect, standard Japanese rather than a more specified location, but his voice actor's Yokohama accent still shines through a little. Bakura's accent is more pronounced, but less recognizable as being Japanese.
Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly? "Hoh?" and "tch" probably counts, for Bakura. Bakura has little trouble pronouncing words, even foreign words, but foreign names that he hasn't heard before occasionally get him. Ryou tries not to say a word he doesn't know without feeling it out, but many foreign words definitely get him. In terms of their own language... they don't really have pronunciation issues, though Ryou's politeness and Bakura's trickery means that their thoughts aren't often displayed to others at all.
What are their chief tension areas? Shoulders, for Bakura. Ryou tends to get it around the lower back.
How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral? Bakura perceives himself positively. He's fully aware of his 'flaws', but he doesn't view them as such, though he recognizes others would. He has almost no negativity towards himself, not even bothering to criticize his failures. Ryou is pretty neutral. He recognizes he has both good and bad qualities, and accepts them, though big mistakes or failures will get him to go negative.
Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts? Ryou takes a little time but processes his thoughts quickly when he's not stressed. Bakura is quicker to think, and often doesn't take time to think about if his thoughts are right or not.
Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time. Bakura doesn't dream. Technically, he doesn't get tired, either, but when his host's body hits its' limits or he's stuck in the Ring, he'll sleep just to pass the time. Generally, he'll snap into awareness in a second's notice, however. Ryou dreams a lot, usually fantastical dreams that make no sense, but occasional nightmares. If he can't sleep, he'll go write out a new trpg scenario, or clean around the house.
If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation? Bakura prefers the subway, though if anyone bothers him, he's quite vicious about it. Ryou prefers the bus. Less chance of being molested or talked to by strangers.
What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like? Yu-Gi-Oh! posits that the Egyptian gods are very much real, but so are other beings that are godlike and may well be considered gods - Zorc, Leviathan, the Light of Destruction, etc - but not any other specified religion. All of their gods outside of Egypt are designed specifically for the show. Ryou doesn't really have much of a religious view, but Bakura resents all Gods that aren't Zorc solely because they're more powerful than him. Neither of them's really sure what to believe in terms of creation/evolution, since they're involved in so much magic weirdness that either could be true. Though Ryou definitely believes in Heaven. (Bakura does not)

Ryou - writes letters to his dead sister in heaven, plays a fiend deck, is a sadistic and cunning DM despite being a sweetie outside of it, can eat about three times as much as anyone else his age, and is very interested in the occult. Bakura - likes taste of blood, splits his own soul to seal it in other things, prefers zombies and monsters to people, canonly refers to himself as "my honorable self" out of pure arrogance, and only uses honorifics for others when he's mocking someone.
Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? Ryou has. Bakura doesn't tend to stop no matter how much something weighs on him.

If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight? Ryou prefers not to fight, thank you. Bakura, on the other hand, doesn't run away unless he's at certain risk of death (or thinks he is - see Episode 13) and thus would gladly fight to the end.
If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why? Bakura - I'd say the Pharaoh, but he needs him. So probably the other Malik or Shadi (again). Ryou - Nobody. Nobody deserves that.

Ryou - To get rid of the Ring's spirit (but not the Ring), to never lose his friends, and... he'd offer the last wish to Yugi, because three is too much for him. Bakura - To gain the infinite power of darkness, to see the Pharaoh suffering for all eternity, and for life to never be boring again.
Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone? Bakura trusts nobody. Likes, yes. Trusts, no. Sometimes people in RP can get him to do it, but it takes a super special person and a lot of work. Ryou is slightly more suspicious of people than he'll ever admit, but he'll warm up fast to people who are friendly to him and try to push back any wariness.
Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart? Affection, for Bakura. He finds romance uncomfortable and awkward and dislikes the idea of love in general, but he's fine with the physical side of things. If someone wants him to love them, then they better be willing to worm their way in carefully by being adoring and passionate (and definitely interesting), and have the patience to not expect him to even recognize he feels anything for them for a long time. Ryou is actually pretty stand-offish. He doesn't feel comfortable with people being either affectionate or romantic towards him unless he feels fond of them, which hasn't happened in canon, but has in RP. You have to get into his heart by being his friend before he'll open up to that sort of thing. But once he does, romance and affection are pretty equal to him.

He's more sadistic than masochistic, but he does enjoy taking the rough with the smooth, so pain isn't adverse to him unless it's really high. He also likes biting, and embarrassing his partners. Also mirrors. Ryou is mostly innocent except in RPs, but I headcanon he likes being helpless more than he'll admit. He also likes mirrors. Since Bakura's in him, he just lets him do it so he doesn't have to bother. Though if he has a say in it, he'll sometimes eschew the pajamas, or at least half of them. Bakura can sleep or stay awake for days at a time. Ryou falls asleep pretty easily, but can stay up a full night without showing the slightest sign of tiredness.
If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be? Ryou - "Don't be sad, father. You'll be with Amane and Mom, right? So I'll be there too eventually." Bakura - "Who the hell are you people?"
Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets? Ryou has tons of regrets, but he doesn't really fear death much. He fears dying, but death itself will be nice, he's sure. It means being with the other half of his family again. Bakura has no regrets and only fears death before he realizes even Shadow Games, his only weakness, can't kill him. Then he becomes quite cockily assured that he'll always return.
Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why? Bakura gets restless, but he's not bothered by silence. Just boredom. Ryou is used to it enough that it doesn't bother him.
Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why? Ryou - Cream puffs. They're his favourite foods. Bakura - Steak. See above.
